Careful, it's easly to get 30 hp, it's much harder to get 40% more torque accross the WHOLE power band.

Since when did it become EASY to bolt-on 30 more WHP ???
Nitrous is the only "Cheaper" HP that you can buy... but not by much. If you do a proper N2O install, the initial set-up would cost about $1500.00... in case you are wondering, this price includes the base kit, a fuel pump, ignition with a timing retard switch and labor. Then you have to fill the bottle after every 15-20 passes...

I have a customer that fills his bottle every WEEK !!! At, $35.00 a fill, how long will it take to pay for a JR Blower ???

You either pay now, or pay later...

What I meant was 30 hp is easy, from a perspective. All you need are some high rpm cams, cam gears, and an ecu with bolt on mods. The total price would be less than a supercharger. Move the peek torque above 8,000 rpm, and boom (literally) 30 more hp. But the low end would suck.

BTW, My b16a2 with 20,000 miles on it in one day went from dead stock to 4-1 dc headers, type r manifold, overbored port matched throttle body, jg adj cam gears, type r cams, greddy exhaust, akimoto intake and DYNO tuning -- and it only netted me 20hp,

Of course, now I have a JRSC

Yeah, but did you raise the rev limit!

HP is a function of rpm and torque!
